With professionally written wine and food columns, a restaurant guide, restaurant menus and wine lists, video wine cellar tours, a current and comprehensive wine and food calendar, and a touring wine regions section, it is a content driven site supported by sponsors.

Wine shops, food markets, restaurants, and wineries market their businesses and their events on the site. But advertising is not limited to wine and food retailers. People who love wine and the disposable income to purchase wine also buy homes, cars, furnishings, upscale attire and services. Thus many companies' products or services, such as Birmingham magazine, The Maids, The Day Spa, and The House Physician for this lifestyle find new customers from sponsoring the site.
